The most accessible interrupt you have is your own exhale. When your out-breath is longer than your in-breath, you press a brake pedal your body came equipped with.

Three simple moves, repeated until they become the new normal. This is how a practiced pattern loosens its grip and a steadier one takes its place.
Bring the automatic into the light. Naming the pattern creates a sliver of distance, and in that sliver lives your freedom.
Insert a pause between the trigger and the reaction. A small, repeatable move that tells your nervous system it is safe.
Lay down a truer path and walk it until it holds. What fires together, wires together.
Why coaching
The same brain that helps you survive can keep you stuck. Coaching gives you a trained partner to see what you can't see alone, and a clear plan for what comes next.
Build relationships that feel safe, connected, and mutual. Understand the patterns you bring from your past, communicate what you need, and respond to hard moments with care instead of old reactions.
Lead with clarity under pressure. Build the emotional intelligence and steady habits your team can count on.
Make room for grief without losing yourself in it. Find steady ground and gentle next steps at your own pace.
Work with your brain, not against it. Build systems for focus, follow-through, and time that actually fit how you think.
Every person benefits from understanding how their mind works. That's where lasting change begins.

My greatest teachers in love, patience, and repair.
I help capable, overwhelmed people see the patterns shaping their lives, release the ones that no longer help, and build new ones that fit real life. No shame. No lectures.
Everything in this shop is a way to take that work home with you: practical tools you can print, keep by the coffee maker, and actually use on a four-hours-of-sleep kind of day.
I love the science, but I also know life has a funny way of ignoring the research. My husband and I have been married for fifteen years, and we're raising three wildly different humans ages five, ten, and nineteen. I'm not doing this from some perfectly regulated, Pinterest-worthy life. I'm just a little farther down the trail, carrying snacks, and happy to show you where the footing gets a little more solid.
My background is in marriage and family therapy, with certifications in neuroscience, neuropsychology, ADHD, and grief.
Written from my back porch, my favorite place to write. Stories about family, courage, and the people who keep showing up, with new titles added here as they release.
